Castle Ball

Two Wednesday's ago I had the pleasure to learn the game castle ball. Castle ball is were you take six hola hoops and make a castle out of it, then the other team tries to knock yours over. This is a picture of me in one of the Castles the kids made. The goal of the game is to knock over the other teams castles. Each team had three castles and two guards to each one. Everyone else on the team has soft balls that they through at the other teams castles. Once the castle has been knocked down the two guards must put it up as fast as possible.


The game was alot of fun I helped teach the kids how to guard there castles by being ready with their hands up ready to block a ball. I also helped them remake their castles. Some of them forgot how to build them so I had to give them a quick 101 of castle building in the middle of the game.

After we finished playing castle ball for the day the little ones have to rest for a minute. After they are allowed to get drinks. I have to watch and make sure they don't take too long getting drinks and they stay behind the silver line before they get drinks.
